The bond with Kuniva was instant. He is my absolute pride and joy!!!! People always say that you have one special dog in your life and Kuniva is that dog for me. I was confident that he would be an accomplished show dog from a young age. We achieved multiple Best in Sweeps, multiple Best of Breeds (over notable specials), Best in Specialty (2003 Great Lakes Keeshond Club of Michigan Specialty) and obtained a Group Placement all on or before the age of 14 months.

Kuniva had a very successful show career. He was ranked a Top 5 Keeshond "All Systems" for multiple years. He won 7 Specialties. Three of these Specialty wins were earned in 2011 at 9 years of age from the Veteran Classes. He also completed his Grand Championship & achieved a Veteran Best In Show the same year. He's obtained countless Select Awards and/or Award of Merit's at Regional and National Specialties. We obtained the 1st Award of Merit at the 2005 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. He completed the requirements for the Keeshond Club of America’s "Hall of Fame” Award. We headed across the border and completed his Canadian Championship in one weekend with a Group 1 and Group 3. He also completed his UKC title in one weekend with 4 Group 1's and 3 Reserve Best in Shows. He is mainly retired but will attend Keeshond Specialties. Kuniva sired the 2010 Keeshond Club of America Maturity Winner. Four of his 5 kids shown thus far have won Winners, Best of Winners or Best of Opposite at Specialty Shows. Ch. Candylane’s IKON Extravagant Edition completed his championship with 3 Specialty Wins and a total of 4 majors. He was also awarded Best in Maturity at KCA's 75th Anniversary National Specialty in May 2010. Ch. IKON’s Candylane Exclusive Edition achieved Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite at the 2008 KCDV Specialty and completed her championship with all majors. Candylane’s IKON Radiant Edition achieved Best of Winners at the 2009 KCDV Specialty during her 1st debut. Candylane’s IKON Tuscan Prince achieved Winners Dog at the 2010 Buckeye Keeshond Club Specialty.
